Successful Lunch Event at Top-Golf with Patterson-Kelley Boilers
P.C. McKenzie Company Hosted Patterson-Kelley Boilers for a lunch and learn at Top- Golf in Bridgeville, PA on August 6.
Guests at the event learned about the myths of “high turndown ratios,” from David Connor, Patterson-Kelley’s National Training Manager. David explained that while higher turndown ratios of 20:1 may be achieved, this number may only be proven in an ideal laboratory condition. Sadly, end users rarely test the boilers touted turndown when the unit is brought into the field.
The dirty little secret associated with high turndown ratios is that,
in most cases, the boiler is no longer condensing.
After the presentation guests enjoyed getting a chance to use Top-Golf’s unique driving range, while snacking on some excellent food. Like the golf balls at the range, we found this event to be a big hit!
