Engine Generator Exhaust Systems

schebler-logo

Schebler Chimney and Exhaust Systems Model P4 is a modular double wall prefabricated exhaust system with 4″ insulation for use in venting appliances that require a positive, neutral or negative draft exhaust system.

Sections are provided in lightweight, easy-to-handle lengths. Connections are sealed with pressure tight drawbands and high temperature sealant.
Straight sections, expansion joints, tees, elbows and support devices are offered, allowing a complete exhaust system to be assembled from standard components. The Model P4 has endured rigorous tests by the Underwriters Laboratories.

UNIQUE FEATURES

Model-P4THE MODEL P4 OFFERS UNIQUE FEATURES THAT NO OTHER CHIMNEY MANUFACTURER CAN PROVIDE.

All liners and shells are continuously seam welded. Spot welds are not used on any of the seams. This assures a leak proof joint and maximum strength. This also minimizes corrosion, adding longevity to the stack.

The pipe section utilize a stiffening bead on the liners. This bead maintains concentricity of the pipe and prevents the insulation from settling in shipment and in operation.

This System does not use captive nuts and bolts. A system that uses these types of bolts can be very difficult to align and get a nut started on a bolt.

Boiler Adapters include a seal ring to cover the gap between the liner and shell. The seal ring will provide a neat and completed appearance as well as preventing rodents from entering the area between the shells and possibly causing damage to the insulation.

COMPETE LINE OF FITTINGS AND SIZES AVAILABLE

The Model P4 Chimney System is available in even and odd diameters ranging from 5″ to 48″. A complete line of Straight Sections, Expansion Joints, Tee’s, Elbows, Rain Caps, Roof Penetration components and support members are offered. In addition to the standard components virtually any conceivable fitting is available as a special order item.

MATERIAL THICKNESS

The standard material thickness for liners is 20 ga. (.035″); for shells it is 22 ga. (0.34″) Fittings larger than 24″ diameter utilize 18 ga. (.048) on the shell. Pipe diameter larger than 36″ utilize 18 ga. on the liners and the shells.

Natural Gas for Our Future
Natural Gas an ideal fuel source for many reasons, including safety. Natural Gas is lighter than air. This means that it will not puddle (like gasoline) or sink to the ground like propane, which is heavier than air. Instead, Natural Gas will rise and dissipate in the atmosphere. Natural gas also has a higher ignition temperature. This means that it is much harder to ignite. Also the storage systems used for compressed natural gas are infinitely stronger that the gasoline tanks found on cars and trucks today.
