Natural Gas Booster Compressor for  wells

Natural Gas Boosters are used to solve a number of problems dealing with low inlet pressures. 

The most common application for the GrimmerSchmidt line of Gas Boosters are for increasing natural gas well pressure. These units are completely assembled and ready for connection to gas service for immediate, unattended operation.

The Model NGG 351-41 Booster can take inlet pressures ranging from 0 to 15 psig and boost it to discharge pressures up to 100 psig with gas production volumes up to 575 MSCFD.  They are trailer mounted for easy transportation and powered by GrimmerSchmidt's mono-block design.

Standard Features include:

Compressor:
  • Water cooled head and valves
  • Large concentric compressor valves
  • Aftercooler, air to gas

  • Manual throttle
  • Single motion rotary start swicch
  • Full gauge panel which includes tachometer, engine/compressor oil pressure, ammeter and hourmeter, suction and discharge pressure, discharge temperature

  • Engine air cleaner - two stage
  • Inlet scrubber with manual drain
  • Fuel scrubber with manual drain
  • Full flow oil filter - engine compressor

Electric System:

  • 12-volt heavy duty maintenance free battery

  • Combination ball/pintle hitch

  • Acosutical sound package noise level below 76 dBA at 7 meters

Discharge:

  • 2" NPT with check valve

Safety Systems:

  • Manual bypass valve
  • Pressure relief valves suction and discharge
  • Shutdowns - low engine/compressor oil pressure, high coolant temperature, suction and discharge pressure, discharge temperature
  • Antifreeze - 50/50 mixture
  • High liquid level in scrubber
  • 2 gallon auto lube oil system
