Axelson Relief - Blowdown Test Fixture for relief valve testing

Wouldn't it be nice to check your Axelson Relief Valve without removing it from your installation?

Not to worry! P. C. McKenzie Company offers a Relief & Blowdown test fixture that allows you to check set pressures and blowdown pressures of Axelson pilot operated relief valves in the field. Since only the pilots are tested it is not necessary to remove the entire valve.

The test fixture, manufactured by Axelson, uses pressure from a cylinder of compressed nitrogen (never use oxygen) and is used to check the settings or to reset the pressure at which the relief valve will operate. 

Options include:

  • needle valves
  • adapters for any type of pilot
  • pressure gauges and high- pressure hose with swivel connection
